Hello there Bistro 161 fans. Thought I would share some information about myself and overall a disposition on all the magic that happens here at the Bistro 161. I'm an extremeley intense and passionate person and I invest myself full throttle into every challenge I undertake in life. The restaurant has been a big passion and inspiration in my life growing up. Aside from the restaurant I'm a full time professional musician who enjoys the love and desire for music, art culture, food, wine and most of all friends and family. My grandfather Salvatore Mannino opened the doors in 1969. My father Fred Mannino Head Chef/Owner of the Bistro 161 continued the legacy and went on to graduate from The Culinary Institute Of America in 1974. Since then he has produced an unstopable, constant driven art in the kitchen that cant be explained in words. You have to taste it to believe it. Since 1969 we have had an excellent reputation for our outstanding family friendly atmosphere, exotic food and our wonderfull staff here at the Bistro 161. We strongly believe in our philosophies concerning great service, comfort, desirable food, family, education and living life too it's fullest. Hunterdon County is truly a remarkable place. If you have never been to Flemington NJ it is a wonderful cozy town that is best known for its great community and most of all its oustanding culture and history.
